Grief & Bereavement

Grief and bereavement has a special place in my heart just like many of us. During our life experiences, losing a loved one can have a devastating flood of emotions while we try to process the loss either through a sudden death, terminal illness, losing a parent, child, pet, sibling, partner, divorce, separation, or employment. These are just a few of them.

 

Grief is a normal process that anyone may go through after the loss of a loved one, and can have a profound effect and impact on our lives. No one person is the same and each individual will grieve differently in their own personal way. That’s why I have taken the time to study in depth a grief and bereavement counselling diploma course to help others in the bereavement process to explore ways to help them find a new way of living their life.

You may be experiencing some or more of the following emotions and feelings:

  • A constant feeling of emptiness

  • Intense anger

  • Constant longing and yearning for the loved one

  • Intense sadness

  • Avoidance of reminders

  • Constant feelings of meaninglessness

  • Constantly thinking about the loved one

  • Being fixated on the circumstances surrounding the loss

  • Not being present

  • Guilt

  • Unhealthy Obsessing

I am here to help you cope and counsel you with this change using the tools which are most suited to your wellbeing, which may include the practical and financial aspects.
